Council #5131 is committed to deepening and promoting our Catholic Faith and the work of evangelization through our prayer, life, family, community programs and activities.

The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of all Graces, serve the church and their neighbors on a voluntary basis in about 170 countries. The first meeting was held in Dublin Ireland on September 7, 1921, on the eve of our Lady's birthday. 

The Active Legion members look for opportunities to meet the spiritual needs of the community through; evangelization, the distribution of religious information and sacramentals, visiting hospitals, homeless and incarcerated, leading rosary groups in nursing homes and teaching religious instruction. The Legion of Mary is acrive in leading funeral Rosaries for our parish. Together with our parish priest, we lead Pilgrim Virgin and Home Enthronements. Many of our Legion members are Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and distribute to hospitals, nursing homes, and homes of parishioners who are unable to attend Mass due to illness. The Legion has auxiliary members who associate themselves with the Legion by undertaking a service of prayer in its name.

Martha's Helpers Ministry enjoys a quiet and peaceful time with the Lord and creates new friendships along the way. Martha's Helpers focus on the many behind the scenes tasks that need to be done to make our church shinning, organized and welcoming.

We make sure holy water fonts are clean, sanitized and refilled. Dust statues, sacristy area, reorganize vestment closet. Clean cry room off Cheerios after busy weekend Masses.  Ensure votive candle stands are dust-free and candles replaced. Dust kneelers, window sills and tile floors. Martha's Helpers make sure our church glows by polishing brass altar candle holders, and the baptismal font.

Join the Seven Sisters Apostolate – Praying for Our Priests

Do you feel called to pray for our priests? The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a lay ministry with a simple yet profound mission: to ensure that a Holy Hour is prayed every week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop.

What is the commitment? 

Each group consists of seven women (one for each day of the week). Each woman commits to one Holy Hour per week on her assigned day, praying specifically for our parish priest. It is a quiet, powerful way to support and sustain our spiritual fathers!

Our Grief Support Group is a faith-filled ministry created to support anyone experiencing grief or loss of any kind, not only the loss of a loved one, but also life changes, personal struggles, broken relationships, illness, or other difficult seasons of life. Together, we seek God’s comfort, healing, hope, and peace through prayer, encouragement, friendship, and support.

We meet the first Monday of every month from 5-6pm in the church.
